i know they won't for sure but i'm afraid that can get denied bc of lack of evidence

Have you read where the issue a 221(g) for additional information after the interview? It works just like an RFE. A second chance so to say.

Pretty surprised went from  in transit to ready in one day. Not complaining though lol. Good luck to everyone else!

Shouldn't be surprised its been discussed throughout the threads that it hits ready fast because the electronic version arrives and trips the ready switch even though the paper file hasn't arrived.

The question I want to ask is more for a regional subforum, but I didn't get an answer there. It looks like there are no active VJ members from Belarus here atm. So, all my hope lies with @Greenbaum the almighty :)

I saw this when choosing delivery options: Please note that to collect your passport at one of the TNT office or from the courier, you must present an original, government-issued photo ID.

The problem is that the only government-issued photo ID I've got is my passport. Has anyone had to deal with this problem? Is there a way to pick up a passport without an original, government-issued photo ID?

As long as it's a knowledge-based forum, I'm going to answer my own question. I sent an email to the embassy, and that's what they replied:

K1 and K2 vis applicants receive their passports with visas at the embassy.  You do not need to present your government-issued photo ID.

Hope it will help somebody in the future.

K1 visa journey:                                                                       AOS:

The validity has not changed at the initial I-129f stage through AOS. The medical (DS-3025 is the vaccination form and the DS-2054 is included in your POE packet) is still used to determine the validity of the visa. Once in the US and completing the AOS portion, then the medical requirement is that the medical is valid for one year.

The I-693 is only used when you must complete additional vaccination once in the US that were missed or that there was a shortage of in your home country otherwise you would not seek out a I-693 if every document is complete from your medical exam.

I'm not saying that information is wrong, it just needs to be applied to the proper steps while processing the K-1 and AOS. In most cases it does not apply to the K-1 IF everything was completed in your country. For other processes it very much can be valid for those cases.

Update: There was a change not long ago that a I-693 must be completed for AOS. Since you only have 90 days to which to get married and submit your AOS package then the expiration date of 60 days should not be an issue if you plan accordingly.

This information should contain a caveat that this is for the Embassy at Belarus and not necessary true for all other embassies. The difference between your situation and the OP's is that you are picking up at the embassy where as the OP is asking about offsite requirement that the embassy has promulgated that she/he use to secure their visa from a 3rd party.

My comment was concerning AOS after marriage.

Your dates for medical and interview are fine.

Hey! Where do we go once we have the interview? It was yesterday and the CEAC status is ‘Administrative Processing’ as of this evening. I read the pdf and hoping it changes soon.

You go to the US, get married,  get your social security number and file your AOS. There are guides to help you along with SSN and AOS. Blue ribbon at the top of the page and select guides.
