In my "buckle up" post I offered to help you with a copy of the P3 for your embassy. I have most, a few I don't. Whatever I have, I would be happy to share. Just make a request and I'll respond with what I have. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

do you have morocco p3?

Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page for this once completed.

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things,  at NVC, In Transit, or Ready. Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiance Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email.

When they email you back they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical , your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent..).

Here is the list of panel physicians used by the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca. Call ahead to insure they are still doing medical exams for the Embassy.

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Medical/CSB - Casablanca.pdf

You can not schedule dr appointment till you receive notice from embassy it is taking about 3 months of waiting to be able to schedule any appointments. Do not do the medical too soon as the travel time must be completed within 6 months from date of that medical. You will also need to complete 2 criminal reports (one of which expires in 90 days)  Obtain a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence.

All documents submitted in support of an application or petition must include complete translation into English. In addition, there must be a certification from the translator indicating that the translation is complete and accurate and attesting to his or her competence as a translator. See8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) .

the medical is valid for 6 months.

i.e. if you complete it today July 10th, your visa validity will be capped at November 10th.

So in reality if your interview is on August 10th, due to your medical 6 month limit the visa will expiry on November 10th in 5 months only.

so use the above to decide if it's a good time for you to do it or not.

In our case we started the medical in Northern-Thailand knowing that it will take 1 month to complete it. The gonorrhea test is sent up to Bangkok.

So I estimate the interview date on August 2nd and the medical will just complete for us on July 31st.

hello thank you.

I am just confused about the shortening to 60 days validity period...

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (“USCIS”) have just announced a change in their policy regarding the validity period of a Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, when filed in support of a Form I-485 Adjustment of Status Application.   Effective November 1, 2018, the I-693 medical report will be valid for two years from the date of submission to USCIS (and not one year as it is currently).   At the same time, USCIS are shortening the I-693 validity period to 60 days from the date the Civil Surgeon signs the I-693 medical exam (it used to be one year).

You can complete the medical exam anytime as long as there is enough time before the interview that the results will be at the Embassy for your interview.  Keep in mind that your visa validity is only six months and it begins using the medical exam date not the interview approval date.

but @Greenbaum look, what is that shortened date to 60 days validity...

to me this reads like that:

1) vaccination records can be used in the USA for up to 2 years in connection with an AOS application (So they don't make you do another exam)

2) after vaccination in foreign country you better be having your interview in 60 days, hence the embassy insist on having the medical just a few days/week before the interview appointment

The validity has not changed at the initial I-129f stage through AOS. The medical (DS-3025 is the vaccination form and the DS-2054 is included in your POE packet) is still used to determine the validity of the visa. Once in the US and completing the AOS portion, then the medical requirement is that the medical is valid for one year.

The I-693 is only used when you must complete additional vaccination once in the US that were missed or that there was a shortage of in your home country otherwise you would not seek out a I-693 if every document is complete from your medical exam.

I'm not saying that information is wrong, it just needs to be applied to the proper steps while processing the K-1 and AOS. In most cases it does not apply to the K-1 IF everything was completed in your country. For other processes it very much can be valid for those cases.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community that comes behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.
