I checked our case and still saying at NVC 😣 I'm really worried that  we don't have a chance to be in transit today

I read somewhere (PDF), from a well informed author, that shipments are Tuesday and Wednesday.  I'm really worried because you have access to that same information and now you are in a worrying state.

I checked my status this morning and it still said at NVC. I checked right now and it says in transit. I guess June 17th case numbers made it for shipment.

Because the author who wrote that wonderful pdf stated that cutoff would be the Wednesday before the Tuesday shipment.  So doing the math of course you would be in this shipment as you were assigned a case number on the Monday. Wow am I ever good at this.

People have a little more faith in what is in the PDF document.  It's there for you to use. It's a compilation of years of doing this. Is yours to use for FREE. Report the contents if you have a different experience but till then its there so you don't ask questions about the process when it's alredy covered in the PDF.

I'm always open to constructive criticism.

I have received the letter from nvc that it’s on the way to Bahrain. And my case status is In transit.

Is there another thread for the next step?

Your subforum and the information (P3) that I gave you awhile back will get you through the next steps.

When they ship Tuesday and Wednesday your correct.  More details in the pdf found on the first post first page. Learn how to follow your case using DHL hack.

Those are the only two ways.

Good Evening Everyone!

Our NOA2 =5/29/19

I'm reading the updates here... wondering if I'm calling NVC at the wrong times?! I call early morning around 9:30am-11am. Then, noon - 3pm. Lastly at 8:30pm. The only interaction I have is with the recorded messaging system explaining how high the call volume is. Once or twice I got a busy tone but that's about it. Any advice or suggestions?

Check your country's sub-forum as I know different embassies have their own ways of scheduling your interviews - everyone gets this same message regardless of location.

For example here in the UK you have to have already attended your medical before you can even book the interview. Some countries the embassy will provide you with an interview date, others you have to book your own a certain way, etc.

We got the same standard message even though we can’t schedule the interview yet.

^Agree! Monday I got an email from a representative at AskNVC simply stating & providing that they got my case number. Then yesterday, around 2:45pm EST I got an official email from NVC-do-not-reply@state.gov that my petition was sent to the Consulate. There was an attachment of a .doc file in the format of an official letter with a barcode and the US Dept of State letterhead. The NVC’s electronic communication has been wayyy more reliable than USCIS!

Which phone number are you calling? The pdf provided 2 phone numbers. One is for “Immigrant Visa”, the other is for “Non-Immigrant Visa”. The first time I called the Immigrant Visa phone number I got the “high volume busy” recording. So I called the “NON-IMMIGRANT VISA” number and got a person in less than 15 minutes. In the several times that I called this number, no matter what time of day, I never waited longer than 30-35 minutes...
