Unable to pay currently. I tried to pay through ustravel but there is a mandatory field Priority Date that I didn't find anywhere, so in my case, I have to wait for the next step from consulate. :D Maybe difference lies in different countries. You can ask your fiance try if it works in your country. Good luck!

Priority date is the RECEIVED date on your NOA1, that is what NVC states. But, the priority date is not used with the K-1 visa, you could enter any date you want and it wouldn't matter.

i just called NVC...8th try and got through then when I pressed 1 for English..nothing...then after some time since it was non-responsive it hung up on me

now I'm at try 34th and got through again and the menu options finally are responsive! :D

sharing with all, so those who keep asking how to get through to NVC, now you know! :D

Just browse the internet and have the phone next to you and relax...in 30 mins and about 30 tries you will get through :D

I have an NOA2 date of May 29, 2019 and called the NVC today to see if they have received the file from USCIS yet. Turns out they have and have assigned a case number already :) They said I should wait for an email of further instructions from them, when can I expect the email?

Hi Everyone, just a FYI, this morning I got an email notification with my case number. This is a screenshot. It was nice to be informed -although I already called and got the case number when it was assigned (on 6/10) 14 days ago :D.

So, from your experience do you think its necessary for someone to call when actually you received it in the mail?

There is nothing you have to wait for from NVC.  Complete your DS-160 using your case number.  Track your case shipping status at ceac.state.gov.  Enter immigrant and your case. Additional information is in the pdf on the first page first post.

When I did my DS160 they didn't ask me for my case number they asked me for my uscis case number that start with WAC

Or did I get it wrong?

Not NECESSARY. Calling ahead is simply a pacifier. Knowing the number as soon as it’s issued can be useful in making tentative plans around an estimated timeline of events. It really just feeds the illusion that we somehow have more control of this process than we actually have. Lol. ...In our case, it simply gave us peace of mind to know this case is headed to the correct consulate. Ultimately, I think that waiting for the NVC to contact you will not result in any irreversible damage. ...The likelihood of email and snail mail BOTH failing is low. I’m confident that if a NOA2 managed to be delivered, then the case number will eventually come as well.

Im currently facing the same issue. Should we add the USCIS receipt number? or the NVC case number? @Greenbaum , Kindly advise. Thank you.
