Mine was At NVC on June 6, and updated to READY on June 14, later changed to Administrative Processing since June 17. Someone says when it changes to AP, I’ll receive P3 soon. Not sure if it’s true. Still positively wait for the status updates.

Just about everyone goes through this process.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps to complete the processing of your visa:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

So it's true then... if the visa gods are in your favor... that it can go from first AP to READY to second AP to READY so quickly that you miss it?

Yes that's what I reported. Some embassies that has happened, but it is rare. All Visa's goes through these stages to issue.

Appreciate that! :D I have taken down notes lol, not that stage for visa issuance though. Still waiting for the package 3, the status AT NVC on June 6, READY on June 14(assume that the e-version arrived at embassy), later changed to AP from June 17.

Called NVC yesterday. Our  NOA2 is May 28th and it's been 3 weeks now. After waiting for 30 minutes on the line, they said they haven't recieved our petition yet and they would probably recieve it sometime in the next 3 weeks. Just wanted to share this in case people with similar NOA2 dates were wondering. Will probably call again in 2 weeks.

Thank you! Ours is May 29 and I haven't followed up yet, might tomorrow.

Hi everyone! So my case at the NVC was assigned on the 10th of June! Is there a possibility that it might of had been mailed out on the June 11th shipment to Colombia?

Hey guys!

Idk if they already answered this question. How do I schedule an interview appt?
I went to the website and after creating an account it automatically showed me a spot and stated that was next available slot. Are there steps to take before booking an appt?

For instructions on the next steps go to the first page, first post of this thread. Download the PDF file and all the items at this stage that one would need to be aware of are contained with in that document.

Thank you for the PDF, this is very helpful. Are you able to point me in the right direction for thread or document which contains a concise list of items that would need to be gathered for the interview?

I doubt it. If I remember correctly the case number needs to be assigned the Wednesday before shipment? What does the CEAC tracker say?

Tracking is done on the shipment dates. Yours will ship in July. Case number is not used for tracking.

Case number is used to track the status of your case so you can determine where it is. You use it at ceac.state.gov.

Thank you for answering my question! I got my case number yesterday. I have chance to have my case shipped to Embassy on June, 25h, right?

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Definitely go to your country’s K1 forum and I bet you’ll find it as a sticky there. That’s where I found the list for Canada’s Interview :)
