I’m a 1 st year medical student, I can’t work at this time . Can I put my student loan as income for me? Last year I work and I filled tax for 2018. But it’s not enough.

You still need to complete the I134 and submit tax transcripts for yourself.  Co sponsor submits what i outlined in my previous post.

You'll have many challenges to make Feb work. Too soon with medical and your visa dies. Embassy doesn't extend your NOA2 expiration date then your dead. Im not really sure you understand what's before and certain dates that must be dealt with. You have homework to do for a Feb departure. Just saying from experience.

We plan to get single cert in August and email embassy to extend the I129f date.police certificate won’t be done till sept. Submit all papers early oct and have medical mid oct. since 6 months from medical. We should make it for feb. I did my homework.

The million dollar question.  Does your embassy extend the NOA2 validity date? (It's not a 129f)

Hello everyone,

I've read the PDF many times and was able to figured a fews things (like how to find out the case was assigned). I still don't understand though how the shipment tracking Works. When should I do It? Do I need a case number to do It? Can someone explain It better. I called NVC today and was told my case got there today. Got noa 2 on May, 24th (notice date).

The easiest and cleanest way would have been to answer YES to "do you have another to registered". Then you would have been completed the two records and their appointments would be together. Did you get appointments for the two of them? Are they together meaning same day and same time?

There is no dates available to pick an appointment date. Apparently, embassy is releasing available dates only certain portion of the beginning of that very previous month.

Tracking is done on the shipment dates. Yours will ship in July. Case number is not used for tracking.

Case number is used to track the status of your case so you can determine where it is. You use it at ceac.state.gov.

Just an update for those still waiting,  I got an E mail from NVC stating my package was shipped out on June 11, but no ways to track it on DHL, got a phone call from the consulate here this morning asking to confirm my e mail, I suppose I will get P3 in mail today then sometime.

CEAC status also shows todays' date as the last updated, meaning they are obviously working on it. just FYI, CEAC is quite prompt with updates

Does the embassy need the paper version of the petition before they send out the information letter, or is it enough for them to have received the electronic version? I'm asking because I'm tracking the package on the DHL website, and for some reason they are too late to deliver it to the embassy every day 🙄. My status on CEAC was changed to ready a couple of days ago though, so I'm guessing the embassy here already received the electronic petition.

Best advice i can give is keep an eye on your CEAC status and when it updates again, then you know the embassy has received your paper copy and should be in touch soon, that's what happened to me today

Mine was At NVC on June 6, and updated to READY on June 14, later changed to Administrative Processing since June 17. Someone says when it changes to AP, I’ll receive P3 soon. Not sure if it’s true. Still positively wait for the status updates.

Thanks for the help. I started to feel that I was steering them wrong but using my advice i was able to get to the status page without any problems.  For the life of me couldn't understand how they were landing on a page that asked for the id when it didn't for me and for others.

Thanks for your information in the topics! Help me a lot.
