That's because they receive a electronic version before the paper file which causes it to go to "ready" status.

Does this affect the time frame? could you be able to schedule your appointment sooner than later because you dont have to wait for the embassy to get your hard copy in the mail?

Just curious, Today is a public holiday in my country and my case shipped out last week Tuesday

It doesn't unless you try before the paper file hasn't completed the "ready" status.  Trying to early will get your appointment canceled.

If it shipped last a Tuesday then if you were to schedule for next week you should be fine as long as your P3 letter states so. Always refer back to it. Each embassy is different.

There is no need to make phone calls. The procedure is in the P3 letter and I highly doubt that you'll have an interview date this close.

Anyone get their Noa2 on May 15th or around there who are still waiting for the nvc to receive their application? They still don’t have it. Our NoA1 was Sept 7 2018, it feels like we got a ticket on the snail train!

Hi everyone, just an update to piggy back off the above question. i have been super lucky in that I got my NOA2 only 77 days after filing. (Still cant believe how amazing that is!)

The date of my NOA2 was May 13th (new website updated on the 14th) and I haven’t heard anything from NVC to say they have received my case or have a case number for me yet. I haven’t called though, I’m going to leave some more time before pestering them. I have applied for my ACRO police check though (I’m in the U.K.) and made a start on the DS-160 so its all ready for when that does happen and i have also completed the other documents for financial information. Just having some difficulty getting hold of the tax transcripts for my fiancé. For some reason the online IRS site won’t accept his SSN so we are doing it snail mail lol.

I was also extremely lucky that I was in the USA when we got the NOA2 so my fiance could give me the originals of everything in person to save on fedex costs or waiting for them to be sent to England.

Im staying patient and hopeful for some news soon.  For myself and for everyone else too. Hang on in there guys!! 🙂❤️
