I just got through to NVC by phone for the first time.  My case isn't there yet...which is the answer that I expected since other timelimes show it takes at least around 28 days.  They said based on my NOA2 date to try calling again next week.

I think for mid May NOA2s we can pray for a miracle for us to go out on the 6/11 run, but it's more realistic to hope to make the 6/25 one.  I'm crossing my fingers not to have to wait longer than that 😅

I feel you, I'm still waiting to hear from NVC too and as much as I know there's nothing to do but wait I can still feel it crawling in me. 😅

Hello to everyone on this group.

I have a question and I hope someone here have an answer. I called this afternoon to NVC. My NOA 2 is 05/02. The gentlemen I talked to told me the following: "We dont process k1 visas at NVC, your case is currently in administrative process and just wait until you will hear something from beneficiary Embassy". He also gave me a number which I am not even sure this is the case number everyone are talking about consist of three letter and 10 numbers. I am confused what is administrative process? Is this a bad thing? and will this add more time to the case to being processed any further? I asked the man on the phone and he was clueless about what is going to happen.

Thanks in advance

Come on now folks why would ANY of you lose hope? Has anyone here gone over 582 days or even 299 days ( mine and still waiting for an interview) has anyone waited that long? I think not so why would you lose hope or think negative? Let's be real here get your face up off the floor, you got this, we got this, things could be worst. All you can do is wait, wait and then wait some more until the day comes the sooner you realize that the better off you will be. Don't fight it trust the system that couple that just got approved after 582 days,  they had a simple case no marriages, no kids and look what it got them!!!! Tighten up folks dig in you'll be ok if you don't fall into that pit of despair!!!! Just some friendly advice, not trying to upset anyone just trying to get you back on track......YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!!

thank you hun..... but i am desperate here because my dad is very sick, and i was hoping he would be able to walk me down the isle before he passes away..... and this process is taking long and time right now is not my friend...

Preach it! Thank you for saying this!

People, people - I get it, the wait is hard; realize that even though this process can feel isolating and you lose hope because you have very little control over any of this, you are not the center if the universe and the world does not revolve around your situation. Have a lot more patience and little more empathy for those who have (and continue) to struggle through this process.

@Sarge2155  you are appreciated!  @Greenbaum and a truckload of others have their own real life issues happening and take time out of their daily lives and give their energy into assisting a PLETHORA of people here. I can only imagine the people lucky enough to be around them in their daily lives, the world needs more of these people.

For all those waiting at whatever stage, whether it's one month, three months, 2 YEARS - you have to be able to deal with it. You will get through this.

Sorry to hear that - it's incredibly difficult. Our personal situations really aren't a matter of concern for them - it's so cold.

My mother passed away a year ago, well into our wait after receiving our NOA1 and I completely understand how you are feeling. The universe will give what it gives, I'm hoping that the universe expedites things for you. :)

I'm  very sorry to hear this,  but I don't think that even under these circumstances your case would be pushed through any faster, that's just  the system. I understand totally what you are saying and I am hoping for a good outcome for you, again I'm very sorry.

I'd call again and ask if your case has arrived at NVC and have they assigned  a case number yet. The agent you got  to help you sounds  more confused  than you are. Call again and hope youll get a different  agent. That should clear things up a bit for you.

He gave me a case number. I am not sure if though this is a case number has 13 characters. 3 letters and 10 numbers. Thank you I probably will try to call again and talk to someone more knowledgeable.
