Hi,

 

i just want to ask what should I do. I recently moved to a new address which is now different from the information in my I-129F. We also received the email that our petition was approved on May 22 2019. Should I call any department to change my address or is it better that I will just leave it as is?

everything is clear here, however on the phone, the lady said "do not do anything until you receive the email". Are they going to send me the information you mentioned above link? anything specific I am waiting for?

Yes they will send the information.  Right now you are in front of the horse trying to make it run faster. When its time the horse is going to begin to trot but you best be in the seat of the buggy in control of the reins when he does and not in front wondering what to do. Just saying. :thumbs:

can anyone tell me how long does it take for USCIS to send the petition to NVC ?? it's been 2 weeks right now and nothing yet 😔 and does anyone have any idea if i can schedule the appointment by myself or should i wait for them them to schedule it for me (Embassy : Tunisia )

Well if you download the pdf file from the first post on the first page of this thread you will have your answer.

I've read the pdf. while the information contained within is useful, it is badly structured.

I could give you feedback on how to improve it, but that requires an open mind and your response is rather deterring people to try to help you improving the document.

The document could be updated but I have been pretty busy in my personal life with cancer and answering those that I can help. The document is free to use and if you have suggestions or you want the word document to update and make changes, I have no problem with the help and would appreciate your offer.

The GUZ P3 is what prevents people in China from getting a head start, they want the instructions page mailed back with the requested documents.

U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. K visa applicants will be notified by the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. You cannot schedule your interview appointment till such time as you have been sent the P3 letter from the Embassy and have returned the requested documents.

Don't waste time while you're waiting for P3, complete DS-160 and print confirmation page. Since you are from China go to the 2nd link below and click immigrant to register under K1 visa. After you register and enter info it should be clear on how to pay fee, make sure you print bank deposit slip. Just follow directions under Nonimmigrant Visa, but make sure when you register K1 is under Immigrant Visa.

After you register make sure to choose K1 visa under Immigrant, it wasn't an option for under non-immigrant.
