hello... anyone there??? USCIS just informed me that it can take up to 90 days for them to send your case to NVC... heart attack, stroke, coma.... flat lined.... devastated with that info... my wedding is scheduled for June 14th... everything paid for... invitations sent out... i am literally devastated... going to cancel everything now.... will have to wait until USCIS decides to send case to NVC.... I just want to cry...hopeless

Most if not all will add this to the P3 letter or their website instructions. If you read the information in the first post of this thread the normal processing times are given. You also have information that will tell you the USCIS processing times. How you came up with your dates to schedule such an important date is beyond me. I'm sorry that you are in this bind. Best advise for you and for others is "don't make any plans till you have your visa in your hand and you have at least reviewed it for errors".  Once you are clear, then it's full steam ahead.

You are advised not to make any travel arrangements, not to dispose of your property or give up your job until the visa has been issued to you. The maximum validity of an fiancé(e) visa is six (6) months from the date of issuance. You must travel to the United States within that 6-month period. Please do not request an interview unless you have definite plans to move to the United States within six (6) months.

Well, the reason why we chose that day was due to my dad’s health condition! I wanted him to walk me down the aisle before he passes away!

I am sorry your father is not in good health. I understand your desire to have your father there. I have 3 daughters and I am sure that the hope that when they marry I will be here and in good health. This I understand. I wish you a speedy visa process and that your father has the joy of seeing his daughter marry. :)

It's hard for anyone here that is helping others like you navigate this process. Sometimes our posts are not only for the education of you but many read these post now and later and it would be necessary for anyone helping to post the correct information so not to cause any further delays. I hope you can see the value in our posts.

Thank you so much @Greenbaum for all the time and help you're giving us through all this process.

I was approved the last Wednesday 8th, 2019 and I got my Approval Letter through the mail on May 10th. It was just 2 days from the email to the hard copy! Hopefully the NVC process walk fast too.

Finger crossed. 🤞🤞🤞 and the best luck to y'all.

Would it be a waste to mail the NVC to see if they would give you any feedback on NOA2 approval if you are still awaiting feedback from the USCIS? I know they work separately, I don't want to waste someones time and make them run around for nothing if I don't have an NOA2

Thanks

Received my NOA2 hardcopy on Saturday saying case was approved on 5/7!!!! Neither old nor new site has been updated yet (seems to be normal hit or miss).

The .pdf in the first post says 30 days to NVC to receive from USCIS then 5-10 days for case number, but everybody says to call NVC after minimum 10 business days for case number. Is the 30 days the "official" processing time but it moves faster?

Your mileage may vary. Start calling after 10 business days. You hear they don't have it, then give it another 5 business days and call again. So on and so forth till you have the C#.

BIG waste of time. Just as you said, two separate entities and each does not know the others business.

I checked the new website and found out my case was approved on 5/13!

I have looked through the Google doc (so helpful!) But wanted to make sure I understand correctly. Should I start calling/ emailing about the NVC case number 10 days after the date it's showing approved or should I be waiting for the actual hard copy NOA2?
