So my fiance just emailed me a letter that he received by email from the NVC, which was addressed to me (weird, but whatever - he is the petitioner). It says that our approved application is being forwarded to the London US Embassy!! I am so thrilled after all that waiting, but still wonder what happened to our NOA2...

Also, there is no update on the app. I'm still on day 133 of waiting on there. I almost burst into tears when I read it. Thank you so much for your support and I wish all of us a successful visa application x

seems like a lot of letters dont go out or go missing.

glad to hear you may filers are getting through though! congrats

Hey guys I sent in an inquiry a week ago and received this email today regarding my 1-129F. Do you possibly think this is an NOA2 because it says "notice of approval"???? Our NOA1 was May 24, 2019.

Please only post your question in on thread. It would help keep VJ clean and organized.  Thanks.

Yes that states its approved but it is not the NOA2. NOA2 looks very similar to the NOA1 form.

Got my NOA2 today in the mail! dated 10/08. Hope everyone that is waiting get theirs soon!

Once you get your NOA2 it's time to leave this thread and move over to the Oct. NOA2 to NVC. Read the first post in the first thread and download the pdf as it has all that you need at the next phase of  your journey.

NOTE:

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks
