Me either. Most likely my birth cert. The checklist asked for proof of citizenship and I sent my passport. Idk what else they need. I've got my copy handy, just in case.

Now you've got me worried.  What's wrong with a copy of your passport as proof of citizenship?  It's listed in the instructions as an acceptable proof.

Just about bet ya thats it...but let us know if you don't care....

Hey guys....  Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee here...  Moved out here to NM a year and a half ago.... Quick question.  You commented that you suspected her birth certificate was likely the issue.  Are you aware of someone getting an RFE for using a copy of their passport as proof of citizenship?  The reason that I am asking is that that is exactly what I used and now I'm a little concerned that I may be up for an RFE myself.  I would appreciate you sharing any information you might have on the subject.

Well personally I sent Both! I just wanted to eliminate Any areas of question. I know that a birth certificate provides a lot of useful information when it comes to background checks....K-town huh? I know it well....spent most of my adult life there working for KNS.

I sent a copy of each page of my passport. I'm praying it's only my b cert, I've got it handy and am waiting for rfe to arrive in mail. I've never been married, no kids, no complex situation over here. I provided proof of relationship,  proof of meeting one another, receipts from my visits, emails from venues on inquiries for our wedding reception,  ring receipts, chat transcripts etc. We met through my brother in law. He and my fiance grew up together.

Thank you, I gave him a list of questions and answers for reminders. He is studying as well. I pray he doesn't get her. Lol our biggest issue is getting a police clearance from Haiti. There is civil unrest in the streets. He currently lives in Chile and we have issues contacting them. Embassies say they can't get involved. Problems may be big but our God is bigger.
