Hello, This is a topic to talk about adopting stepchildren in USA with k2 visas and immigration issues.

 

 my fiance wants to adopt my daughter (K2) . I am the only legal representative of my daughter. The biological father is not in her birth certificate, he don't live in USA and I don't know where is he now.  We are in Virginia. Does anyone have a similar experience? We need the consent of the bio? Should we start the process before AOS or after AOS? My daughter is an Italian citizen. I know that the process is different in each state. Thanks
