you  need to check the portal for your country

posts on there will give you a better idea

as Mena countries take extremely long for any of the visa applications

you are dealing with the UK and yours will go more smoothly

the only real posts to help you will be on UK portal and those embassy reviews

Hit the word Portal at the top of the home page

Timeline

My fiance (from the United Kingdom) and I submitted our i129f on February 4th. NOA1 was 4 days later on February 8th. Visa Journey is predicting our NOA2 will be received between May 21st and May 31st (given no RFE, that is). We were expecting a longer waiting period, and obviously are very happy if this is the case. But I am just wondering if other people have had accuracy with what Visa Journey predicted.

Thank you!

I don’t have a lot to say about time line, as mine has been as predicted even with an RFE. NOA1 - NOA2 was almost exactly 7 months. Keep in mind do not plan a wedding date until that Visa is in your hands. The timeline from NOA2 - interview can be 3-4 months and Interview - Visa in hand can be 10 days - 12 months depending on approval and how long your Administrative Process is. I’ve learned the hard way that planning equals a ton of stress. Once Visa is in hand it is valid for 6 months for a single entry into the US and then you have the 90 days to get married. This is a lot of time to plan and move.

Joining VJ and following the guidelines (for each and every step of the process)  helps a USC or other to go thru a smooth process

but VJ is only a small part of the over 6,000,000 different applications immigration sees in a year

so,  VJ trys to help and give its members an on average timeline for members here but so much is based on member involvement

1  giving enough information to answer any questions

2  taking advise as given

3  following the country guideline as embassies vary

4  and giving feedback here so that information is added to the timelines
