I'm really curious, and my wife is even more so... can anyone shed any light as to what was asked and/or how their interview went at the consulate? I've heard they are really quick, but then that is just what I've read a while back. Looking for actual experience,

Go to the Thailand Consulate Review section. A lot of folks have really good details of their experiences during the interview. I have been reading them myself. Some very enlightening reviews done.

Thank you for that, I hadn't noticed that section before. After reading comments, I see that most all are for K1 visas. Not a whole lot of IR1 spouse, but there were a few. Most of the questions they ask for the K1 visas probably won't pertain to us since we both live here, and have been married over 3 years now. Like, how do you communicate... for us it would be "well, we talk to each other throughout the day" lol. Anyway, thanks for that link, I enjoyed reading others experiences.
