If you have been married five years, you may be eligibile for a POC card (functions like a CNIC/NICOP, but it does not provide citizenship.  More like permanent residency).  

Not yet 5 years...we are waiting for that day.  I had applied for one just as they made the 5 year requirement so I did not get one issued.    Our two year anniversary was in January.   Before my visa expires we will reapply for the nationality card.

There is a distinction between the NICOP and POC. 

 

NICOP is actual Pakistani nationality.  You would not be eligible for this because you haven't resided in Pakistan for a certain amount of time, etc. 

 

POC is like permanent residency.  Not citizenship/nationality. You are eligible for this after five years of marriage. 

 

If you are of Pakistani origin yourself, then you are eligible for either regardless of marriage to a Pakistani.
