oh the joys of travelling along in the usa. here's a few choice topics from our 14 hour drive in each direction....

at some point, we passed a dead skunk. a few hours later, we passed another dead skunk.

nessa says to me "did we pass a skunk or did you fart?" i had no idea they were so bad :innocent:

after explaining to nessa how to use cruise control, she uses it to drive for hours and she rants and raves about it - she loves cruise control. in fact, she even said something to the effect of "when you've not had it you can't miss it, but when you've had it you love it." i just had to make the observation that cruise control sounded like sex

along i-35, we passed the turnoff to johnson city, birthplace of lbj. after telling nessa about that is where lbj was born, she asked if "el bj" was a mexican bj

eta: there are a few more but under the pain of death i can't post them

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

yeah yeah... I love to use it when we have to drive for almost 14 hours, it's not like I'll use it like ''some people'' use on base at 25mph or going from home-base-home, a 15 min trip :P

I used to go to school with a girl who's first 2 initials were "VD". She was called "VD Johnson" all through school. She got into drugs, etc. I don't know if being called "VD" for all those years had any impact on her self-esteem

Charles, just don't go on cruise control during sex. :P

I agree with Nessa, once you've discovered cruise control - it's unbearable to live without it. ;)
