Hi everyone, 

For some reason my police check under privacy act has not arrived yet even though I did it 2 months ago. I have no convictions and criminal associated and as I did not know the police check type requirement, I made the police check based on date of birth and I got it right away without any criminal records shown. I have no idea why it took me this long, I also called RCMP multiple times and every time they just said my application probably got held and needs some manual review. And even then they are not sure if there is anything went wrong. They also told me that it will take up to 120 days and as my interview is coming soon, I really need it.

I have no idea what to do, I would be glad if anyone can help me out by giving me some ideas who I can reach to. Thanks!

I see, that is quite odd. Maybe try to get a higher up RCMP officer who could send you the report by email and you print it out? Tell them that you need it urgently for your interview? I haven't had this problem so I'm not much help. :(

Thanks a lot though 😁 
I tried to talk to them and all they said were just they are just responsible for telling the process status, they have no idea why it takes that long. I feel so frustrated after all the calls, even emailing them does not help either.
