This question is for a friend of our family. My wife friend came from the Philippines and got married this February. She inadvertently waited past the 90 day mark (I don’t know which date they were looking at). I believe they were 10 days late.  My question is are there any legal ways they can rectify this situation without her having to be deported? Thanks in advance.

Yes.  They file an i130 in addition to the I485/I131/I765

She can always leave. But if she does, she will not have a way back.

So no, she doesn't "have to" leave.

No, she can remain in the US...just make sure to file the i-130 as mentioned above with the rest of her paperwork.
