RFE Received; Site Updated with Incorrect Status?

USCIS recently received our K1 RFE response.  The new site has no updates since they've received the form.  However, on the old site, it updated that they received our RFE response and would resume working on our case.

 

I checked today and the status updated again, but it's for an incorrect reason.  It's stating that they updated the name on our I-129F.  Our RFE was not for our names or any sort of demographical error. 

 

Is this common?  I know the website isn't reliable, but just curious if this has happened to anyone else with an incorrect status like this.  Our status never updated once we were issued the RFE on either site.

when any of our cases were at USCIS stage,  i never had any updates (touched or otherwise)

even when we sent in a 25 pound RFE package for a 4 page request

now,  big question

Did you label each page sent with your case #,  both names and both DOB's in the upper right hand corner?

even though documents can be marked recd from post office at USCIS office,  after they are on a desk things can get misplaced
