Need document from Manila embassy for DNA test

My fiance just had an interview at the US Embassy in Manila. She was told that she needs to have a DNA test done to prove that her son is her biological son. I contacted a certified AABB accredited lab here in the states and paid for the DNA test. My contact with the lab says that we need to supply the lab with a letter from the embassy with her name printed on it stating that she needs to have the DNA test done in order to get the process started. But my fiance was not given any such letter or document. What should we do?

Can't believe they only verbally told her to get a DNA test.    Have her check her email .. even the spam folder.

You don't need to start multiple new topics on this ..  Just saying

Wow. That was a perfect time to ask, was in front of the CO. I would recommend calling the embassy.  There is a window #38 at the embassy open M-TH 10 am to 12 PM to handle something like this. This information is a little old so buyer beware.

Ok, Hank and Greenbaum. I emailed the embassy at CONSManilaNIV@state.gov (for non-immigrant visas). The subject of the email is supposed to be in the format:

LASTNAME, Firstname. However, I accidentally used all upper case characters: LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME. I also sent two phone numbers for my fiance to call: (632) 792-8988 and (632) 548-8223. Then, I noticed that K-1 Fiance visas are in the Immigrant Visa category, so I need to resend my inquiry email to this email address instead: IVManilaReplies@state.gov

At this point, I am really confused. I'll have her check her email and spam folder. This is the email response I received from the Philippine embassy for the email I had sent to CONSManilaNIV@state.gov:

THANK YOU FOR CONTACTING THE CONSULAR COMMUNICATIONS GROUP OF THE
U.S. EMBASSY IN THE PHILIPPINES

This is an automated response. Please do not respond to this email.

The Consular Section is only able to respond to case-specific inquiries.  Please contact the call center or refer to the website information below for inquiries regarding general consular services.
z
All routine inquiries that are not case-specific or are general in nature should be directed to our call center:

Website:           http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph
Telephone:       (632) 792-8988 and (632) 548-8223 // For calls from mainland United States (703) 520-2235

Before contacting our call center, we recommend that you visit our website at https://ph.usembassy.gov/.

All case-specific inquiries should refer to only one (1) case per email.  The subject line of the email should contain the following information:

Subject:    LAST NAME, First Name
Example:  DELA CRUZ, Juan

The Consular Communications Group receives a high volume of messages daily.

If your inquiry pertains to matters concerning Nonimmigrant Visas and the American Citizen Services (i.e. U.S. passports, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, notarials, legal capacity to marry and emergency situations of U.S. citizens in the Philippines) you will receive a reply within five (5) business days. For Immigrant Visas, please allow seven (7) business days for a reply.

Do not send duplicate inquiries as this will further delay the response time.
Please refer to the table below for additional resources and contact information.

I wish she could just go to that window #38 but she lives in Mindanao, so that's out of the question. Would you happen to have the correct phone number for her to call? I resent my email inquire to IVManilaReplies@state.gov (that is the email address for Immigrant Visas and a K-1 Visa is under the Immigrant Visa category). BTW, what does "CO" stand for?

There is a mistake.   The Immigrant Visa Unit is where you interviewed.

No reason to go to window 38.   Check you email (including spam folder).   The DNA request will be in writing from the embassy.

Yes, I realized that and resent the email inquiry to: IVManilaReplies@state.gov

Did you check the email address on record with the embassy (in your petition, online dashboard, DS-160 .. or ?)   There will be a written request.

I don't see an email address on the DS-160. I only see the correct email address they sent in their initial reply. The first email I sent my inquiry to was: ACSInfoManila@state.gov. In that email, I found the correct email to send my inquiry to: IVManilaReplies@state.gov

The DS-160 states this is a non-immigrant visa. This is a K-1 fiance visa. I found this online: If you are a U.S. citizen, you may bring your fiancé(e) to the United States to marry and live here, with a nonimmigrant visa for a fiancé(e) (K-1). An I-129F fiancé(e) petition is required.

I apologize because I'm also confused as hell. I'm about to speak with an immigration attorney to sort this out.

OMG... This doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. I'm about to talk to an immigration attorney. Sorry for so many back-and-forths.

She is in Mindanao   .. window 38 is a bit of a jaunt.     Emailing the embassy will get the necessary reply IF it is not in an email already.

For years now the embassy has been emailing the 221g  ... which is why I keep stressing for him to check his email, including SPAM folder, if nothing was handed to her at the embassy.
