🤗I was able to go with my Fiancé to the interview today and we got approved!!! Just needed to vent out my excitement!! Thank you VJ team for the support and help! I’ll be updating my timeline 🤗😭

 

*no need to buy any pens, we did from those outside people just in case, but if you have everything no need. If the USC brought their phones/smart watches they get a designated spot by the guards and given an assigned number to pick up after when they do the security scan. Congrats to others as well!! CFO next!

Embassy in Manila (this is the Philippines forum) has no issue with the USC attending the interview.   I attended the interview with my wife .. it was a great experience.

Question the address on the application is in Los Angeles, would my fiancé be able to arrive into San Francisco? Or would they question why he’s arriving there and not Los Angeles?

No, they will not care what port of entry he uses, just that once he's here that you and him marry within the 90 days.

Not an issue.   Your fiance can arrive at any airport/ POE, all is good.

My fiancé’s address of living will be mine, would it be an issue if my fiancé visits a relative for about a week or so as they have yet to seen each other for years?

No, the AOS does not have to be filed within 90 days.

 

Your fiance can travel anywhere in the US. If they leave the US without Advance Parole they will not be able to re-enter.

Nope there is not an requirement to file AOS within 90 days, but do take note that after 90 days the I-94 expires and she will no longer have legal status, if by some chance she were stopped/checked and her I-94 has expired she could be detained.  <<  Does that happen?  Not often, but I do know of two cases, both were released later.

 

Filing AOS (I-485) will give legal status again

question about CFO confirmation because the month of my date of birth is incorrect fiancé accidentally clicked JUL instead of JUN will this be an issue or can my fiancé let them know upon arrival as the appointment date has been set for May 7

Shouldn't be an issue to let CFO know this during the seminar.
