Has anyone had the medical exam in the U.S. and can tell me what it is like?

I did. What exactly do you want to know? It costed me a bit over $800 ( $400 vaccination and $400 just an exam) at concentra. Do you need me to explain full process?

Step by step each thing you had to do and what kind of questions they asked. Also, did the doctor give you the paper work on the same day? Did you have to take any vaccines and if so, could you do it that same day? Lastly, did you have to take your clothes off down there!?

I‘m really nervous for my appointment!!

I‘m really nervous for my appointment!!

First of all, I decided to process with Concentra clinic, as I felt like they know what they are doing after i called them.

I called for appointment and they scheduled me when I was able to come.

I didnt have any vaccination from my home country. I mean I had vaccination but they didnt accept paperwork from my country. Brought only passport. Filled up basic paperwork they gave me ( age, deseases, if you smoking, pregnant, drinking, bla bla bla).

Returned this to them and they told me to wait. In about an hour they called me from waiting room and invited for an exam.

First basic test: weight, height, heart pressure. Then they wil take urine and blood test. Then they invite you to another room, giving you shorts and and some tshirt to change. Doctor will come and ask basic questions,  ( from paperwork i filled earlier) checked my arm, legs, ears. Nothing special, nothing awkward. Done. They didnt check private parts at all if you worried about it :) Not sure what about guys tho.

After that as I couldnt provide vaccination, they told me i have 2 choices: to do all of shots here now or choose another clinic to go to get it cheaper. I decided to do it right away. So I received 4 shots at the same time including flu shot. Didnt feel bad at all after. Didnt get sick. Arms were wick for a day, but thats all.

The most expensive vaccine was chicken pox/varicella but I never had chicken pox so I could do it anyway. That one vaccine was more than $200 alone. The rest were cheaper.

Anyway full bill was a bit more than $800.

They said paperwork will be ready in about 3-5 days when blood test and urine comes back. I called in 5 days and picked it up. They gave me sealed envelope. It was pleasant experience:)

Thanks for sharing!

I have a ton of vaccines from my home country and I have the vaccination record in English. I really hope they will accept it.

Great, I think I will only need one or two according to this. Is it flu season in the U.S. currently?

Hi, my fiance is missing his MMR vaccine. He came a week ago. Do you how much will the MMR vaccine cost? And do we have to go walgreens or should be a civil surgeon?

It’s $99 at Walgreens according to their website https://www.walgreens.com/topic/healthcare-clinic/price-menu.jsp

It seems like you can get vaccines from other places than the civil surgeon
