K1 Philippines documentation

I have seen threads talking about the documentation required for the medical and embassy. However, I do not see how many quantity you order of each document. How many Birth Certificates, CENOMAR and NBI Clearance would you order? When would you start to order this documentation? We are hoping for a June or July medical and embassy interview.

You can order them anytime

NBI is valid for 1 year

Birth certificates are valid forever

I would order a couple of copies of each

YMMV

Like above, especially the birth certificates as you'll need one for the interview and one for AOS in the US. But always best to have a few copies.

Hank does a fine job of outlining what is needed and where to go to get it plus "how many". http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

We got 5 copies of her birth certificate and still have 2.   Get copies of transcripts and anything else you might need.  Much easier just to have extras.   You won't need an extra CENOMAR or NBI.

For the medical at SLEC

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/medical---slec.html

https://slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.php#required-docs

For the interview at USEM: '

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/     <<<  STEP 5 lists all the required documents.

For CFO:

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/cfo-orientation-seminar.html

If you complete CFO before the interview you will only need one CENOMAR as CFO will want to see the original but keep a copy.  Otherwise you will need two CENOMAR (one for the embassy, one for CFO)

I would suggest you get a few extra of the birth certificate  to bring to the USA as you may need the birth certificate from time to time.

You only need 1 NBI for the embassy.

Can someone please clarify that my fiancé is suppose to order the NBI Clearance? Some people think it is part of the USCIS process and the beneficiary shouldn't have to order it, but she went and ordered one. @redfeather

NBI is required for the interview.  As is the PSA birth certificate and CENOMAR

Here is the embassy checklist:
