Hello everyone. I just want to have your opinion with this Administrative Processing. I was interviewed last March 21, 2019 and the consul issued me a 221g with checked on "NBI Written Explanation" and "Passport". The consul gave me 2 pamphlet regarding domestic violence together with 221g form and he returned my Passport also. NBI Written Explanation was requested by the US Embassy Manila on my behalf. I received an email from embassy to have an interview at NBI Ermita for the explanation letter and to submit copy of my NBI Clearance. I was interviewed at NBI Ermita April 9, 2019 and they stated that the NBI issuing branch where I renewed my NBI Clearance (the one I used at visa interview) put wrong remarks on my clearance "No Criminal Record" instead of the correct remark "No Derogatory Record". They said sorry for the mistake they've done and they renewed my clearance to correct the remarks. They attached the my new Clearance to the Explanation letter together with the copy of the NBI Clearance with wrong remarks. They also said that it will be picked up by US Embassy. I sent the documents indicated in the email to us embassy via 2go which is "Copy of NBI Clearance" and my passport which is indicated/checked on the 221g form that the consul gave me at the interview on April 12, 2019. After 2 weeks of waiting, my fiancee checked the CEAC Status of our case today and the status was changed from "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING" to "Ready". What does ready means? Why not "ISSUED"? Is this status good or what? So confused.

All is good!    READY status after AP is quite normal .. ISSUED should be following.

Little more patience.  :)

Don't worry after Administrative processing changed to Ready is normal soon within days it will change to Issue.

Last month my cousin family was in AP for almost 100 days and later it changed to Ready and within week time changed to Issue so no need to worry Good luck.

i think status varies by consulate... someone says that after changing from AP to Ready it will changed to AP again then last is ISSUED... I don't have a clue... but thanks for the positive feedback. That will help us a lot especially in this waiting game...lol

well I can tell you even though ours was not a K1 it stayed in constant AP and then issued we never saw ready.

I do know also for a fact that if checking CEAC and it goes from immigrant visa to non immigrant visa, that is the next step before it gets issued.

yeah i 've read that in other forum. they said that some status turned non immigrant and then ISSUED. Some said (AP -> Ready -> AP -> ISSUED)... Some said (AP -> Ready -> ISSUED). I think we just need to wait for status change because we're clueless regarding this status changes....LOL

when you are going for a spouse visa it goes AP--READY---AP---ISSUED

when its a K1 it will change about the same from immigrant visa AP, to Non immigrant visa READY---non immigrant VISA AP----non immigrant visa issued

Yes really.   Just be patient it will get to ISSUED.   And as noted by others being you are K-1 it will shift to non-immigrant visa at the end.

Did you complete CFO already or have it scheduled for later?

Once you get to ISSUED status it can be 2-3 days before the visa package is released to 2GO for delivery,  you can be looking at another 5-10 business days for delivery depending on your location.
