Asking for a friend:

My friend has a TN visa and working as a nurse in Florida. But she is getting married and moving to California. Right now she cannot yet work as a nurse yet in CA due to their requirements.

Can she use her EB3 green card for other type of work not related to nursing?

EB3 is a work visa, she would be sponsored by a Company to do a specific job.

Best to get your friend to post.

She already has her I-140 approved and will do consular processing. I will ask her to join but any input so far would be very much appreciated.

Do you mean she is planning to go to CA and work for a different employer n diff field right after entering on EB3 visa (if granted)?? That’s a NO NO.

I thought your fren already has the EB based GC, working for the sponsoring employer and may be planning to move.

You won’t get right answers with incomplete questions in each post, better have your friend post it  clearly.

Sorry for the confusion. My friend has an approved I-140 and is planning to have a consular processing. I am asking under the assumption she gets her EB3 green card.
