Montreal Interview appointment wait-time

Hi everyone,

 

Anyone currently waiting for an available appointment with the Montreal consulate for their k-1 visa interview? I have received packet 4 and was instructed to create an account and schedule an interview time. The screen below is what I see. I do not have an option to do the payment and also no interview dates. If there is anyone else experiencing the same or recently has experienced, what are  peoples average wait times for an appointment to open up and how far advance is the appointment? I am hoping it's not something I did wrong on my end. Thank you and any info helps!

It's not unusual for a embassy to not have openings and Motreal is a difficult embassy to get appointments. Keep checking for calendar to open up or a cancellation to happen.

Here is what happens with most embassies who allow applicants to schedule appointments on their website, you HAVE to check the appointments around 7am-8am.....many persons are seeking to get appointments so the slots get filled quickly, thus resulting in the screenshot you included above.

 

You didn't do anything wrong......just check back tomorrow morning at 7am. Also, it is advised to

I’ve been checking since early last week, usually every hour or two.   Get same msg that there are no appointments available.   My understanding is that they open up interview dates around the last week of the month, so it should be any time.  Easter holiday May have impacted thus since they were apparently closed Friday and Monday.
