I am American, she is Colombian, we bot have jobs money, houses, no debts, no criminal record. we have been together 3 years. I have a ttorney doing the paperwork. I wrote my congressman. all say the same thing, it doesnt make any sense. because there is no answer, yes, no or admin hol, just to pick up her passport in 5 days at her local embassy.

So she interviewed at one location then they say they are sending the paperwork elsewhere? She didn't receive any paperwork or anything at the original interview? Attorneys don't help the process at all.. Congress people, while can "nudge" the embassy, can't force them to do anything. So at this point looks like may have to wait and see what happens in the 5 days when the papers get delivered.

When are the 5 days up?

I would give it until the end of the week.

It happens when they don't have a yes or no answer. Not everyone gets a verbal answer at the interview.

If they kept her passport, it usually is a good sign that they may approve once they have everything they need. Your USCIS status doesn't have any update at this point, though. You have to check the CEAC site with your case number.

thank you,  I checked the status on CEAC, and all it has n updated info. but thank you for the encouragement.  the email I just received from the embassy.

Dear applicant,

Thank you for contacting the Immigrant Visa Unit. The Embassy is not in charge of the delivery process, therefore we cannot provide a waybill number.
The delivery process takes about 2 weeks and you will get your waybill number on your personal website at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/es-co/iv/ approximately 5 working days after shipment.

What does this mean? What does it actually says for the case status at CEAC? Ready? Issued? Administrative Processing?
