later today will be mailing out my 1-751 packet in a box at USPS priority mail

I just wanted to get one last opinion on whether or not to get a signature request?

I heard if no one is available to sign for it at USCIS it can delay it getting there?

Yeah, better not to do the signature request. They’ll simply drop it to the Post Box without looking for anyone yo sign. You’ll get the delivery confirmation anyway through tracking.

Agree that signature is not required.   I sent my wife's I-751 via USPS Priority Mail with no signature......I had no problem tracking it...

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
