Anyone got this email from USCIS after POE???

Ok guys,

I`m here in US since Jan 19th, and yesterday we got this email from USCIS...

Im wondering what is it and if anyone got this email too... Also, I wonder if now, they have my name on the system and I would apply for my SSN...

I have never heard of this before and did not get it. It sounds to me like your case might have been selected for 'administrative review'. Just be happy this happened after you got here, sometimes it happens during the I129-F.

I would just continue as normal and go for SSN etc.

If it is admin review do not worry too much, it can slow things down but you are at least in the USA.

Maybe call the number they give and get confirmation of what this is.

My advice is that you should call and find out what this means. This is not very explicit.

Sometimes I think I know everything, and I regain consciousness. Seen it all, done it all, forgot most of it....

We got this email today. Exact same date, even though I entered on 1st January.

And we got 3 copies of this email. Upon reading this, I'm inclined to think that this is a glitch in the system. :)

OK, don't quote me on this, but from what I've read in o ther threads, I think it just means that they've sent the package you hand over at the POE to wherever it's supposed to go to. So absolutely no biggie. I've had the same email update after entering.
