Hello everyone , I am at the NVC stage for spouse visa , I just want to make sure that I am not missing anything that I need after I receive my case number . So far I know : tax transcript for the past 3 years , his proof of citizenship ( I have his birth certificate ), employer letter from his joB, form I-864 for him and  I_864A for my mom ( he is my step dad). Please what else do I need from him ? Thanks for any input

hi

you are filing for your spouse, right? the forms should be the opposite, your mom filing the i864 and your stepdad the i864A, since your mom is related to you. you will need copies of w2s if he is employed

hi

who is the petitioner? the petitioner files the i864, the household member the i864A. so if your mom filed for you then they have to redo the forms, unless it was a typo

i864 for your mom, and i864A for your stepdad. does your mom work? what are you sending for your mom?

I am the pétitionner , I know I have to file I-864 , but I need my stepdad to co sponsor  because my income for 2017,2016 doesn’t meet the requirement , and I know since he is married to my mom she have to file I-864A . I just want to make sure that all documents that I stated on the top is all I need from him . I have my transcript for the past 3 years as well , my employer letter

I realized that so I edited, but the relation is to your mom, so she should be your joint sponsor because she is your family and her husband her household member, so she has to file the i864 and her husband the i864A. you mention your stepdad, what about your mom's income?

what about 2018's income and your current income?

My mom Income doesn’t meet the requirements, that’s why I want to use her husband

The order doesn't matter.  I recommend the spouse with the higher earnings do the I-864.  Sponsors do not need to be related to the petitioner.

As to the OP's question, you have what you need but make sure to take the transcript for 2018 to the interview.  No W2's needed with transcripts.  Know that you must also provide your own I-864 as petitioner.
