Online applications process

This forum is so amazing, it helped alot of people around the world, with big amount of information.

Sadly, the steps of the N-400 are only for those who wants to mail it, for those who wants to apply online there are not clear steps sadly !

Today I was reading online some threads, saw that some applicants applied online, and after the whole process and interview, their request got rejected !

Why? only those who applied online will know what I'm talking about.

The application online on the USCIS website will not let you submit your application until 90 days prior to your permanent residency of 5 years or  3 years.

Unfortunately, it seems the USCIS website will allow you, 2-5 days even prior to the 90 days,  and that caused people applications rejected at the time of the interview after all waiting and they had to  start the N400 application all over again.

Please pay attention, and if anyone can have the steps  of applying online here in this post, that will be great.

There was recently a very long thread on this very topic. The member, a long time and very helpful member, applied online the day of eligibility, but USCIS logged it in a day early due to different time zones. Everything eventually worked out for the member, but the advice that came out of it was to wait a day or two to file. Good luck.
