The USCIS tried to deliver my husband's green card sometime in December 2018  but it was returned to them because of insufficient address per their notification. I added his name to my mail box and we also spoke with the post office who said it shouldn't be a problem anymore since his name is now on the mailbox.  We have called the USCIS several times and keep getting the same response  - that it can take up to 150 days for them to re-send it. This was the response that we got in January when we called and the same in February and last week. In other word, 150 days from when we called in January, then 150 days from when we called in February and then 150 days from when we called last week.

Not sure of what to make of this and want to know if anyone has had a similar experience.

We have confirmed the address several times

He has the visa/temporary green card combo on his passport that will expire in December.  We are thinking of traveling out of the country in June but concerned that there may be a problem on returning to the US even with the temporary card/visa.   Has anyone been in this situation?  How was it handled?

Thanks

Thank you

Thank you!!

I will advise you to go to the USPS office nearest to you to complain. I had the same experience, it was returned to the sender. When I got to the post office, I gave them the tracking number and my passport.  My wife show a mail showing our address and the green card was given to me.
