It would be helpful if you both could submit a review about your interview experience when you have a chance.

There is no way for anyone of us to know when they will contact you, this is something only the consulate and its officers know. I suggest you have some patience, you didn't get a DS and they kept your passport and you submitted what you needed to. It all looks good for you, all you can do now is wait, use this time to spend with your family as you will not see them for awhile, Ramadan is around the corner, enjoy this time, you might not get the opportunity to spend time with them for a long while. Sabr, it will happen when it is meant to, it will be soon, relax.

form itself is the 221g

221G Yellow Form : A 221g Yellow form is given for General administrative processing. They just want make sure that all documents provided by you and the employer are genuine.

This site best describes the 221g forms and colors and what they are used for

http://usgraduatesblog.com/different-colors-of-221g-form-what-do-they-indicate/

so, relax and do the wait and hopefully it won't be too long to get your visa

Please, when you receive notice from embassy,  write a review

We encourage to do this (approved or denied) as it helps others /no one can comment on the review site so no negative writeups will be there
