Hey,
me and my wife are married for 7 months
went for an i-485 interview with my wife 2 weeks ago for my adjustment of status and during the interview it came up that my father his parents and their parents all US citizens and that i was eligible for US citizenship till the age of 18 (looked like he was kinda shocked), I adjusted my status from A1 Visa (Diplomat), at the end of the interview the IO said he needs to do some checks (said nothing about 2 years green card or removal of conditions), after the interview case status changed to "case must be reviewed" 6 days after the interview  status changed to new card has been produced, when we recieved my green card i was kinda shocked to see that it was granted for 10 years, my question is if you guys think it might have been just an error in production or there might have been some kind of "positive consideration" of the case, i'll be happy to know, I have read some posts from 2013 that there was a glitch for 2400 applicants with this kind of mistake but not anything recent, and i do know it might have been a mistake i'm just curious if you think it might be something different then a mistake.

It's a USCIS error. You will need to file an I-90 and have the card corrected, since it should have been a two year card as you were married for under two years on the day the I-485 was approved. You can expect to have issues with RoC and naturalisation down the line if you choose to not do this.

This specific situation happens all the time. It's a common USCIS mistake.

You can file an I-90 online, and there will be no fee due to it being a mistake by USCIS.

Maybe, but they don't have a choice about accepting a foreign passport containing an I-551 stamp for I-9 verification purposes since it is a List A item: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/acceptable-documents/list-documents/form-i-9-acceptable-documents

An employer failing to accept it after being presented with it is a violation of federal law, and can lead to severe fines for the company involved.

^This 100%. OP: contact the US Department of Justice Immigrant and Employee Rights Section if they don't accept the I-551 stamp https://www.justice.gov/crt/types-discrimination
