Oath ceremony notification - San Diego

Hello,

I was wondering if there are San Diego filers out there who got interviewed and still waiting for their oath ceremony schedule. Can you kindly share your interview date? I  had mine last Mar 18 and wondering if it is normal to wait for the notification this long. My status always says that it is "in line for oath".

Just focus on the two dates (|Interview date|Oath Date|)=|mm/dd/yy|mm/dd/yy| right before '|San Diego, CA|'.

I got approved March 5th and became a citizen April 17. I did wait over 3 weeks for my oath letter. San Diego always have a huge group that needs to be naturalized. My group had thousands. The line started at 5am. There's a few people who had their interview a week after me who are still waiting in SD. Just be patient!!

Thanks a lot! Yeah, its just that someone I know who got interviewed Apr 3 got his notification while I still haven't gotten any. There is one on May 22nd and I don't even know if I will make it to that batch. My interview was Mar 18.

Any updates? I got interviewed in San Diego and approved on April 1. I am still waiting for the oath letter.

You are one week before my interview. This is taking time.

I read another case of somebody who got the interview on April 2 and already have the ceremony for May 22....

64 days later, I am still waiting to be scheduled for the Ceremony...

That's a long time....Did you try to contact them?

Yes, but I got a useless generic answer.

 

 It just doesn’t make any sense to me. My file must be at the bottom of somebody's pile or something...

June 11 will be my 90 day mark. 

I bet I’ll hear from them in the following weeks, but I don’t understand how some people were approved after me and were scheduled for the May ceremony.

They work in a mysterious way. 🤷🏻‍♀️
