Hi there, mine just got sent to CSC too!

What it means is that you will likey get approved without an interview. K1's often get transferred there. There are rumours going around that so many cases have been transferred there lately that they are quite backlogged, but I am not sure if that is accurate. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Some people get 'pending at CSC e-mails about 3 - 4 weeks after the notice of transfer, some hear nothing at all.

Hope this helps!

All the K-1 Visa's filed at Texas or Nebraska get sent to CSC now. They have for quite a long time. This is backlogging the K-1's. Also, the H1B's are also backlogging CSC. These were all submitted and went through the approval process in April. I heard as many as 12,000 were submitted in CSC alone. Not sure how accurate it is. I don't know why VCS doesn't get anything sent there. Everyone who applies through VSC only has to wait 1 month for approval but CSC takes 3. Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Your right, enjoy the process. It's the only one we have.

Well, most people consider this a good thing as in almost all cases, AOS applications transferred to CSC are approved without an interview. Wait times vary considerably from a few weeks to a few months. If, for some reason, they decide you do need to be interviewed, the file would be transferred again to your local office, but that is highly unlikely to happen:-).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
