Plane got delayed in Dallas.

American Airlines to Hong Kong was suppose to leave 10 am Wednesday morning, we sit on plane for almost 2.5 hours and they cancelled flight.  American Airlines then had new flight at 5pm same day, well that flight got cancelled at 5:30 pm due to no captain showed up to fly the plane.  They said to go certain gate and rebook.

Thankfully I hauled butt and was toward front of line, got a flight from Dallas to London, and had 2 hour layover in London, Caught Flight from London to Hong Kong with another 2 hour layover, and then a short flight from Hong Kong to Manila.

So I made it in about 14 hours later than my expected arrival and didn't have to mess with getting a visa extension.

Best laid plans .. and sh** goes sideways.. then it all turns out!   Gotta like it!!

Hi. My husband also booked his ticket for two months in Philippines in June. I called BI in my city to ask how much in order to prepare the money. They couldnt give me a standard fee even an estimate amount. May I know how much did you pay for the extension at the BI airport? Thank you.

It only took me a couple hours when I did the 59 day at B-I  (yup I have done it there too), no reason for it to take days.    Complete the form, go to the first window to have it approved - go to the next window and pay the money - go back to the other window and they stamp the passport with the extension.     Lot of sitting and waiting BS of course ... welcome to the Philippines.

Hi how much did you pay for the extension? Called the BI here they couldnt give me an estimate amount of fee even just a standard price for the extension. Ugh! They want us to go to the office when he gets here. I want him to do it in the airport to get it done already.

I was just on the B-I website and it appears that P3100 - 3500 is still the cost

3000 peso was the number I was getting when paying at airport, This was from an ex-pat forum when getting this number.

My flight was delayed by one day so I didn't have to mess with getting extension at airport
