I am currently living in Alaska but will be moving to the lower 48. I know that the amount we have to provide on the affidavit when living in the lower 48 is less than in Alaska. My question is can I apply for my parents now and then change the address before we have to fill out I 864? Thanks

I am assuming you are just starting and getting the I130 completed. It will take 5 - 8 months for the I130 yo be processed then sent to the NVC.  The I864 is required for the NVC stage. So the income required would be for the address that you have at the time of completing the I864. If you move to the lower 48... and leave one of my most loved parts of the US.. 😢. you would need to change your address with the USCIS ... see the instructions on the USCIS website AR11.. different instructions for pending and recently approved petitions

My daughter and her husband lived in Juneau and Anchorage for 5 years. I miss the AK lifestyle !
