You should be fine. However, we had good fortune to use USPS in all of our documents/applications tendering to USCIS.

You have already touched upon a very important point..... they have yet to cash the check. You know that they want their fees. Follow the money. You will know for sure, that they got your paperwork when the funds are drained from your account. Sit back and take it easy. You are just starting on your journey, you will be given many lessons in patience during your immigration journey.

Good luck.

But FedEx claimed it was delivered to the lockbox location. And the money order hasn't been cashed.

Hi how do you know if the money order wasn't cashed

Please calm down it can take about 3 weeks before you hear something back from them

hi, i sent my application through FedEx too last 10 April and USCIS received it 11 April by same person, J. HARPER.

I'm going through a lot of threads and I'm not sure if my speculations are right that because those who submitted

through USPS (Chicago PO Box) tends to be faster compared to those who used FedEx.

As of this time, 21 April, still waiting and waiting for them to cash the check and for me to receive notifications.

It's still perfectly normal so don't worry.

I'm glad you confirmed that J Harper signed for your package as well. I really hope they will give us some answers soon.  All the best to you.

I know how easy it is to panic, but try not to!

Our check wasn't cashed the same day as it was delivered, it took just over a week until we received txt notifications & check was cashed.

If you haven't heard by end of next week, give USCIS a call?

Alright,  thanks I Will call back this week.

Couple things, how did you pay for I-485? Personal check or credit card? Were the funds taken? Lockbox facility has e-mail address: LockboxSupport@uscis.dhs.gov  E-mail them and ask about the status of your package. Do not count on G-1145 to provide you with SMS and e-mail updates, I never got those, but I did get paper NOA1 in USPS mail. Good luck.

Thanks,  I appreciate.

J. Harper also signed for our FedEx package on the 12th of April and up to now we have not received any texts or NOAs and the check has not been cashed either.  so we are in the same boat.

I hope we all hear something this week. Like @lawrencejay7 said, it appears to me as well that packages sent through FedEx seem to be taking longer than those sent via USPS. I don't know why, but from reading around here, sure looks like it.
