Asking for a acquaintance. I know each embassy is handling travel ban cases differently. I know abu dhabi gives you a paper with the administrative processing checked and 9645 (proclamation number) written on it. However, I know someone who interviewed at the Ankara embassy, and they got a paper like this:

Image result for Taking into account the provisions of the Proclamation, a waiver will not be granted in your case

This is different than what I have seen in other embassies, that say a waiver is under consideration. This was an IR1 case. Its also different from what they told them verbally at the interview. They said they believe the marriage is genuine and because of travel ban they have to send the file to washington. I am confused why they didnt mark the second option (waiver under consideration) vs (waiver denied) - first option.

Did anyone have any experience with IV visas at the Ankara embassy from travel ban countries?
