Chances of Expedite eb3 interview because of daughter starting school?

May I ask, has anybody had any success with expediting their consular interview?  Originally from the UK currently a permanent resident in Canada.  I am going to be having my (5-6 month wait time) interview at the Montreal consulate and I am worried that I will not get my interview/GC in time for my daughter starting school in September in the USA. Do you think I have a chance of requesting expediting of my appointment date for this reason? I should imagine not; as everybody would be doing this I suppose, but I thought I’d ask

Interview in the UK? Not aware of such long wait times for an interview.

I know but I think the problem with that is to submit and for them to review the i-824 (to get my case transferred from Montreal to the back to the UK) in itself is taking upwards of six months (I think). Unless anybody on here knows differently?

All it takes is sending an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov with your request and proofs. You get a response in 7 days. Your case is not delayed while the decision is pending.

I know of a VJ member who got expedite in Manila for the exact same reason, search for user "John and rose".

What's the harm in trying?
