Thank you so so much for your response! This is very reassuring. So one question, my partner quit her antidepressants without consulting a doctor because she used her own judgement to determine that she was in a better place mentally, and she was correct and has been off of them for about at least a year now. Would she need to visit a doctor to have that put on her medical records prior to receiving the records? Thanks again!

So my fiance tried overdosing a few years back and was prescribed medication. He said it made him feel even worse so he quit them on his own and fixed himself. He scheduled an appointment with his GP doctor and when he went in, they asked him some questions and then wrote a letter up for him. It didn't sound professional at all but the doctor at Knightsbride accepted it and he had no problems. He said other then a long wait because of the amount of people, it was very easy and the staff very very welcoming and laid back. As long as she has a letter from her GP stating she is not a danger to herself or other (this wording is important) she should be good!

Thanks so so much! You don’t understand how much this eases our minds. It’s not often that I see others going through stuff like this on here. (thank god, just inconvenient when we are trying to gather our things together) Your experience and advice is greatly appreciated by us!

So Knightsbridge just contacted my fiance and said after further review, they want him to go to a psychiatrist to be cleared which is another 360 pound. He scheduled one for Monday, so hopefully by his interview on Thursday he'll have it all done.
