yes, id print out each page for allergies, medication acute + repeat and whatever is on that repeat medication tab on the left.

Id take those plus whatever else youve managed to get and take it with you to medical, it seems youve exhausted your efforts and will have to go with what you have. Does he has vaccination history ? if so take that too.

I was just reading last night someones medical experience and they got by with just the online information - the allergies, medication acute + repeat and repeat medication information.

Okay perfect. The records he managed to get up to 2013 do have all the vaccinations he received as a baby so I'll make sure he brings those! Thank you!

You may also want to sign up to systmonline if you want all the info on 1 page like mine, it **should** let you sign up there with the same info as your drs gave you and you can link your account.

That link won't pull up?

That's odd, it should go to a page where you can sign up and link your account. I've tried it on a few devices.

As an alternative, what's on your current medical where it says "export record" ? Possibly it'll have his record broken down more simply for printing there?

If all else fails just print each page off individually, it'll have all the same info.

Just an update on our process in getting the medical summary. My fiance went in person into the doctors and he was actually told more than, "we don't have it updated yet". They told him that they have received the updated summary from Goole and the actual doctor is reviewing it and it could take anywhere from a day, to a week, to a month before he gets it. I'm not sure why the doctor would need to review it but at this point, we're calling or going in about everyday so we don't miss that deadline....

Wow Pooley, I can't believe your fiance is still having issues with getting his records. It's been over a month now?

In my experience it is best to go in to the surgery with everything you need (ID, letter to the GP) and request to speak to the practice manager.

Here's a link for you about your fiance's right to obtain his records:

 http://arachnoiditis.co.uk/index.php/information/benefit-information-uk-2/144-the-process-for-accessing-your-nhs-medical-records-and-sample-letter

For the time he was not registered with a GP his records will have been held by the local health authority.

The letter regarding his depression is a separate matter. He can request a letter from the GP outlining briefly his episode, either by writing a letter or making an appointment to see the GP. The important part is that they want to know if he has been a threat to himself or others. They can charge for the letter but should not charge for the medical summary.

As the instructions from Knightsbridge state, they will put his medical on hold if he does not have a patient summary with him on the day of the appointment.

Okay, I have a new update now. They called my fiance down to their office saying they now have his entire full medical records (even though we've told them, along with it in writing, that we only need the summary) and they gave him two large manila envelopes full of over 200 pages of medical records including every case note that has been recorded from him being a baby 🙄. So there's only one spot where it says he was feeling depressed and that's it. Do we still need a letter from the doctor clearing him?

Not if the depression is not current. If he's not on medication for it still then they can see he's feeling better.

Have you checked online again to see if it's transferred over to there? 200 pages is too much for them to read at Knightsbridge. If he can get a brief summary from online now his records are up to date then that would be better. If not, then he'll have to take the whole lot and just tell them how difficult it's been. 🙄

Oh okay. It was almost 4 years ago and he's not on any medication and is better.

And he actually called Knightsbridge and they didn't seem impressed about it being so long but said it's fine because some doctors are just like with not giving the correct paperwork. I told him to take out the case notes and stuff to try to slim it down.

Okay, we've been trying to get my fiance's (from the UK) medical summary for what seems like forever now.  Long story short, he moved in 2013 and just moved back to London last year and just now registered again since they wouldn't give him his medical summary without being registered. They finally got him his summary but it only goes up to 2013 when he moved. I was under the impression that all medical was under one database but apparently not. He's been calling everyday for the past two weeks and they keep saying the database has not updated still. He called the doctors where we was living and they wouldn't do anything for him since he's not registered with them anymore. What happens if he can only get his summary up to 2013? Also on a side note, he has had depression in 2015 or 2016 (so I know we need a letter from the doctor clearing him) which I heard can also be hard to get and the main reason we're calling so much to get a move on with this medical portion of the visa.

do you need a letter clearing him in regards to depression from the doctor he saw in regards to his depression originally, or can he be cleared at the medical exam that is done for the visa process? Asking because my fiancee has also struggled with depression. Hope things are alright!

A short summary written by his personal doctor needs to be taken to the medical exam to cover any serious conditions including depression...things like diabetes, high blood pressure, surgeries etc would need the short write up telling when, how treated, cured or on meds, what meds. It is important on depression to say he has never been a threat to himself or others. Or in the case of previous self abuse that he no longer is a threat to himself nor others.

Then a health care summary from the GP is also taken. That is a printout they should have online.

My fiance just now finished with his medical appointment. His GP doctor wrote him a letter clearing him for his depression. It was not well written (even spelled immigration wrong) but they accepted everything. He said they knew exactly what they were looking for and took just what they needed (his doctors gave him his fully medical record over 200 pages instead of just the summary). He said it was very busy inside with a lot of people but still very relaxing and the staff made him feel very comfortable.

Thank you so so much for your response! This is very reassuring. So one question, my partner quit her antidepressants without consulting a doctor because she used her own judgement to determine that she was in a better place mentally, and she was correct and has been off of them for about at least a year now. Would she need to visit a doctor to have that put on her medical records prior to receiving the records? Thanks again!
