Hi everyone ,

My fiancé and I are putting together all our documents for the i129 , we have lots of proves of meetings during the past 2 years : plane tickets (some with both our names on it when we traveled inside the USA together), passport stamps, hotel reservations, pictures...
I also included facebook posts , conversation of him with my mom, me with his mom , with my brother etc .. 
I was also going to include text messages but I saw on it that 1) it's not necessary 2) it's not good to call each other wifey or hubby on text as nicknames and could result in the petition being denied. My fiancé and I are using those nicknames.. So in your opinion should we just leave out of the package the text messages ? 

 

I just wanted to put more and more to show them our relationship is Bona fide and avoid RFE ..

Do not...I repeat.....Do NOT include anything which refers to each other as husband and wife....unless you are legally married......

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Only provide items that are beneficial to your case. Anything that could be viewed negatively - like calling each other spousal terms - should not be provided.

 

You will not get an RFE for anything about the relationship validity. That’s not part of the petition criteria. The embassy can review it at that stage later.

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
