Sorry, let me clarify:

How do you know they do not take your obligations into account? What is your basis for that judgement.

Obviously I am not talking about travel plans, plane tickets, etc.

Why would they allow it? If they did, then EVERYONE would be coming up with real and fake deadlines just so their cases can be pushed through. So of course they don't care and they don't take people's obligations into account. It's the government. They also barely have enough money to run the agency; where would they get the extra money to investigate people's lives to validate supposed "deadlines"? Anyone can say, "Oh I need to be in the US for reasons."

Who informed you that the US government would cater their process to an intending immigrants plan?  They are either grossly misinformed or they bold face lied to you.

Immigration to the US is NOT a right, regardless if you’re engaged or married to a citizen.  Your husband is free to come and go as he pleases, and if his deadline is May, then you will be looking at time apart... like 99% of the people on here have endured.

Please, read through the guides and educate yourself on this process, but your original post was laughable.

They already employed something called “expedite” to address some of special circumstances. Expedite request is normally made while petition is pending/at NVC stage, however, if you think your husband decline fits into the lists then you can try.

Frankly, what you call as “decline”, most people (if not all) have this type of decline: many people are employed and have limited number of vacation days. Is it a decline when all vacation days are used?

The word is DEADLINE.  Not "decline."

The OP's situation does not meet any expedite criteria.

If you cannot remain where you are after he comes to the US, you need to return to Iran or somewhere you may legally live and make sure the process gets transfers to the new location.

Stop believing you are "entitled" to special consideration.  You will not make friends in the US acting that way.

Thank you so much for responding. Have you seen cases with "deadlines" that have been ignored? Just curious as you seem very experienced and certain about the process.

There is no such thing as "deadlines" in the world of US immigration and visas.  Only the ones imposed upon applicants/filers by USCIS/DOS etc.

The USEM will work on their pace and schedule according to the law and not somebody's deadline or timelime. Your deadline or timeline or whatever has no bearing whatsoever on how they process visa applications. If you an expedite situation then they can make provisions for you but even  that still doesn't mean they will meet some applicant's deadline. The answer is No to all your original questions.

All I have to go on is anecdotal evidence based on reading people's accounts on here - but that's a lot of different examples over the last 12 years I've been regularly reading.

Every now and then there is one case where someone's deadline or expedite request is taken into account (often much to the surprise of the rest of us because it is so rare) - so there is no expedite for pregnancy or job deadlines where the USC can travel alone but once in a while it happens - also more people come on here to complain or ask for help when things don't go their way, so there are probably others who get exactly what they need, when they need it and don't come here to talk about it. So there's a fraction of hope.

HOWEVER the majority of cases seem to go the other way. It's a horrible situation to be in, and you have my sympathy. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Have your plan B,C, and D ready to cope with what comes.
