Hello,

My fiance and I are trying to prepare ourselves by studying up on all the requirements needed to file for a K-1 Visa. I am having trouble finding information on when i file my I-134 form, as there seems to be conflicting information. Do i submit it along with my i-129f or do i give it to my fiance to give during his interview? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

No conflict.  To the embassy at time of visa interview

YMMV

Thats good to know, thanks!

I have a follow up question though: When is acceptable to start filling out the forms and gathering the proper documents? As I understand a lot of them will be dated (like paystubs, letter from employer, bank statements, etc). Is it ok as long as they are gathered after you submitted the original petition (i-129f)? Or do you have to wait to get to NoA2 before you start gathering?

I would wait until shortly before the interview.   London is a reasonable consulate when it comes to evidence requirement.   You need proof of current income,  all the other items can be ignored

The I-134 is provided at the interview for the visa abroad.

The I-134 and supporting documents should be fairly recent. There is no fixed timeline, but use common sense. Normally  people tend to collect them after NOA2, as that still gives you a couple months at least before the interview.

Timelines:

You can prepare your I-134 about the time your petition is approved and get it in the mail to your fiancé. For a LONDON interview you won't need to prove income in all those ways you listed. An employer letter would be enough, but you can pick one more backup proof like either your latest tax return or your most recent pay stubs.
