From my understanding they require Police clearance for K1 visa applicant who used to work or lived abroad for more than 6 months. I hope you could help me figure out if this still apply for my situation. I worked in Dubai from 2011-2012 but as per my personal appearance is required for Dubai Police Clearance otherwise it is waived as a requirement. Is this True?

Second, I have worked in the US as a seasonal worker from 2017-2018. Would I still need to get a Police Clearance then??

US mot required

According to the Department of State:

Court/ Police Certificates

Available: Only if applicant is physically present in the UAE

UAE is waived as it is not available if you are not physically present

This might be changing if the link to the  website might be something new
