Hi everyone,

I am new here, so bear with me for a few minutes.

On March 22, I called the customer service to request the service to change my date of birth because my e-2 visa extension came with a wrong date. After placing the request, I received an email on March 23 stating that I have to fax my passport to prove my DOB because they do not have any document supporting my birthday. So on March 25, I faxed my passport to the number they gave me. Since then, I have not heard anything about my case, so on April 15, I called the customer service again. The representative that I talked to told me they usually start processing it 30 days after I file the request, and that I would have to check back on April 26th. My visa extension ends on April 29th, so I am running out of time because I have to renew my license ASAP. I know they approved my extension, so it just the matter on when they are going to process my request.

Have any of you had this experience? I thought they would process this way faster, but the time is ridiculous just to fix my DOB. How long do they usually take to process these kinds of requests? Is it normal that it takes this long to fix one problem?

Thank you in advance!
