CONGRATS!  You are only the second person that I have heard of that actually had their NOA2 indicated online following an RFE.  It seems that in most cases, the website rarely gets updated when waiting for a NOA2 after an RFE

No, I just waited until I received the notice

Do you have any idea exactly how the USCIS confirms the information that you send them in response to an RFE?  Like in your case, do they simply try to retrieve the same information that you were able to get and send to them?  They must do something or it wouldn't take that long for them to see that yo u submitted what was requested and then check the box.  Just curious.

I have no idea. I’d guess they do validate it and I’m sure they run background checks. I’m also guessing because of my conviction and I’ve previously filed a K-3 there’s extra scrutiny

That's what I was thinking.  Not exactly sure how they go about it.  I can't find any information regarding that process.  The reason I ask is that I submitted a Single Status Certificate in response to their RFE and if they have to go about requesting the same document online, the standard delivery is 30 days which could contribute significantly to a delay in making a decision.

Yeah probably any hiccup in the process adds at least 30 days. Imagine how many petitions they’re dealing with. If they need to validate something it probably goes through several steps. They usually can’t just make a phone call to verify something.

My fiancé is chasing tomorrow as it will be 60 days exactly since we received the RFE.....I really didn't think it would get to us having to chase! But here we are.

Hopefully we will have an answer!!!!

Well I'm officially on week 5...  I don't feel right complaining seeing as how Carina has been waiting for much longer than any of us has.  Hopefully she will hear something meaningful tomorrow...   I'm planning on calling again this Friday and see if I can get in contact with a Tier 2 that is actually interested in giving me some helpful information.  I'm not very patient but I would think 5.5 weeks should entitle me to at least get something out of the conversation.  They may give me the same "wait 60 days" talk.  Who knows.
